Message on Pope Francis' death from President Jean Henric | | Â

Our Pope Francis ended his earthly life the day after Easter. FIPC President Jean Henric sends you a message, invites you to pray for him and to not forget his work, particularly with the poorest.

Festival Choir books have arrived | | Â
The long awaited choir book for the international festival in Munich is out. Many of the 60 choral pieces are new comissions and are written for various choir types. The choir book was compiled and published by Pueri Cantores Germany. Palestrina at the Vatican | | Â
On 28th of March an exceptional private concert was organised in the Sistine Chapel in Rome by the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music and the Pontifical Sistine Music Chapel to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Palestrina's birth. Alberto Veggiotti, President of the Pueri Cantores Italy, and FIPC President Jean Henric attended this special occasion amongst other personalities, including Cardinal Parolin, Secretary of State. "The interpretation of the various pieces by the Sistine Chapel choir was perfect. And it was all set against Michelangelo's frescoes! It was a very moving moment", Jean Henric recalls. |

18 festivals in the American Federation | | Â

Nouvelle Equipe Française | |
Pueri Cantores France is expanding, and a new team has been appointed by the Federationâs Board of Directors, chaired by Goulven Airault as President: Melchior Plasmans (Chief Operations), Alexis Cardot (Fundraising and Sponsorship) and Priscille de Nazelle (Communications). This new team has two main missions: to support the member choirs of the federation in their development (through communication, training for both children and adults, the allocation of scholarships, etc.), and to encourage the creation of new choirs. With this ambitious development strategy, Pueri Cantores France is renewing its commitment to education through music.

New Federation forming in Denmark

President Jean Henric and Vice President Matthias Balzer visited Denmark from 3rd to 6th of April to meet with Pueri Cantores Denmark, who are on their way to becoming a federation and full member of FIPC. Together with Christa StÊger and the team of PCDK, they were welcomed by Bishop Kozon and attended a concert of more than 80 Pueri Cantores. An "inspiration day" was organised, that gave many insights to people interested in working with children and youth choirs. | |

In memoriam Josef Bogensberger | | Â On March 21, 2025, at the age of 83, Josef Bogensberger passed away. As long-time President of Pueri Cantores Austriae and Vice President of the FIPC he shaped the Pueri Cantores and his choirs with great passion, care and knowledge and inspired many young singers. Josef Bogensberger is also well known for the re-founding of the Salzburg Cathedral Boys' Choir in 1974, the Pueri Cantores Congress in Salzburg in 1996 and many beautiful choral pieces he wrote for young singers.
