On February 22 and 23, the Catalan Federation of Pueri Cantores organized its national meeting. Montserrat welcomed the choirs on the occasion of the monastery’s millennium. More than a hundred children and young people from the choirs of the Cors Joves de Catalunya and the Catalan Federation of Pueri Cantores met to rehearse and discover a repertoire of liturgical music that made the walls of the iconic basilica vibrate.
During this fantastic weekend, music was the true protagonist, uniting voices and choirs in an unforgettable experience. The participants had the opportunity to work together, learning and sharing magical moments that will remain engraved in their memory.
The grand finale came with a spectacular concert in the Basilica of Montserrat, where the voices of the young singers resonated strongly, moving everyone in attendance. The event was also attended by the president and vice-president of the Spanish Federation of Pueri Cantores, who shared their admiration for the dedication and talent of the young performers.
This meeting was not only a celebration of music, but also an opportunity to foster friendship and collaboration between the different choirs, leaving a legacy that will endure over time. Montserrat, with its magic and spirituality, was the perfect setting for this very special musical meeting of the Catalan Pueri Cantores.
