An eventful weekend in Paris is now behind us: as part of the meeting of the members of the FIPC, the 75th anniversary of the International Federation of Pueri Cantores was celebrated with a guided tour at Notre Dame Cathedral, a reception and a gala concert. The Petits Chanteurs de la Croix de Bois, the founding choir of the FIPC, and the French Pueri Cantores National Choir gave an impressive performance.

Around 30 people from Austria, Denmark, Catalonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the USA attended the General Assembly. Delegates from Canada, Congo (DRC), Croatia, and Lebanon joined digitally.

On Saturday, elections were held for the new board. Elisabeth von Waldstein (Sweden) was unanimously elected as the new president. Other members of the new Executive Committee are the two Vice Presidents, José Martinez Gonzalez (Spain) and Marco Aurelio Lischt (Brazil), as well as Alberto Veggiotti (Italy) as Secretary and Daniele Perri (Italy) as Treasurer. Former Vice President Matthias Balzer (Germany) will also remain with the FIPC in the new role of General Manager.

The outgoing members of the Board, above all President Jean Henric, were given a ceremonial farewell with many thanks. Jean Henric was also elected Honorary President.
