From April 8 to 18, 2025, the Pueri Cantores from Luxembourg traveled to Japan on a musical and cultural tour. Conducted by Pierre Nimax Jr. and accompanied by Marie-Reine Nimax-Weirig, Pierre Heyart and three musicians, the fifty choristers had the chance to sing in Hiroshima for several occasions, such as a concert at the World Peace Memorial Cathedral and for the Mayor of Hiroshima. They then travelled to Kyoto and Osaka for the inauguration day of the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. They were welcomed by the Luxembourg Pavilion and Luxembourg’s highest authorities. The tour ended in Tokyo with several concerts in the prestigious Seikei University. The Pueri Cantores from Luxembourg were delighted to be able to take part in this cultural and musical exchange with Japanese singers and musicians, and to discover a musical world different from their own. You can catch them in concert all over Luxembourg, including at the next Luxembourg’s National Day on June 23, 2025!
