“Stimmen ohne Grenzen” – “Vozes sem fronteiras” – One year meetup after the Congress in Munich
A week before the International Pueri Cantores Congress in Munich, 2025, the “Junger Chor Fautenbach” hosted the “Arautos do Grande Rei”, from Brazil, in their city. In August 2026, the Brazilian choir paid back the hospitality, and for a week the German Choir was hosted in the city of Xaxim, Santa Catarina. Many events were held to celebrate this wonderful bond between two choirs, two countries, two cultures. A solemn Mass at the local Church, a full big concert, as well as typical southern Brazilian dances, and the worldly famous “Churrasco” barbecue. The top point was, though, visiting the breathtaking Waterfalls of Iguaçu, the three countries spectacular phenomena where 275 falls can be seen altogether, in a huge perspective of sounds and movements, as you contemplate the dance of waters. It was an unforgettable meeting, in the hope of other similar ones around the whole globe.
