An International Pueri Cantores Congress will take place in Málaga from July 14 to 18, 2027. Up to 3,500 children and young people from around the world are expected to gather in this southern Spanish port city. The program includes an opening ceremony, Masses in the participants’ native languages, a reception at City Hall for choir directors, spiritual advisors, and other individual guests, workshops, prayers for peace, concerts at social institutions, encounter concerts and gala concerts, excursions to the region, a choir party, and a closing Mass.
Similar to the recent Munich Choir Festival, participants will have the option to choose from different price categories. Accommodations will be available both near the city center and outside of it. In addition to the lodging costs, each person will be charged the standard participation fee as well as a rate for meals. Detailed information on accommodations and costs is expected to be released soon, as well as a preliminary program schedule.
The registration period is scheduled to run from November 1, 2026, through January 31, 2027.
